thank you iss (international school services) for all the support of posting amazing teaching jobs around the globe, and allowing us to continue to live exciting, adventurous lives. we moved to guate only a short 4.5 months ago, yet so much has happened. we're sad to say goodbye to this beautiful country in 6 months from now, but beyond excited to move to our next international teaching destination. drum-roll please...we got the job in malaysia! we'll be heading to iskandar in august for one of the most exciting teaching jobs you could ask for. ben and i will both be teaching elementary at a school that hasn't even opened it's doors for students yet. together, we'll become a part of a team that lays the foundation for success. words can't describe how enthusiastic and excited about starting a new school in malaysia. it's every teachers dream to be a part of something so powerful, and ben and i get to live the dream together. congratulations to us! with my experience and ben's charm, we did it, and we are so happy! malaysia, wow! this really is the life.
it's silly, but i'm really looking forward to the shopping, food, stylish glasses, technology, traveling, but most of all, the work that ben and i will be doing at the new school. we have 6 more months here in guate, and we plan to appreciate the country to the fullest. i'm also looking forward to going home for the summer and spending time with my friends and family before heading to malaysia for the next two years. when i first met ben, i shared this dream of one day internationally teaching, and here we are, living the dream...

Wow! That is awesome! Congrats to you guys! I thought you were going to be in Guate a little longer, but that is great that you guys get to have this once in a lifetime experience of opening a new school in a foreign country! I hope SD is one of your stops this summer. I still wanted to come to Guate with Miles to visit you guys, but I don't know if you will have time now. I am getting his passport pictures this weekend. Maybe we can still figure it out. Love you guys! Congrats!

thanks ladies! we're super excited about the move and i'll be coming home to san diego this summer, and maybe even bellingham too:)we miss everyone, so it's a little hard being so far away, but we're having a great time!
