merry early christmas benjamin

he's so happy that his mom and i decided to get him a guitar for christmas/birthday:) (thanks pam, he absolutely LOVES it)

i've been a little jealous of fellow coworkers talking about going home for the holidays. i wish i was heading home for christmas, and i miss my family like crazy! BUT, i mean really? can i complain about adventuring up to belize with ben and friends? not so much. i'm really excited for our trip around the cayes and then down through tikal, flores and hopefully new years in rio dulce. some people save for years to take vacations like these, so i've got much to look forward to. we decorated one of our fake houseplants with christmas decor, and we have a small village of candy from student gifts at work. life is pretty darn swell here in guate today.

Congrats on the new guitar, Ben! Your trip sounds awesome. I want to come visit with Miles this summer. Are you guys going to be there in July? I have been talking to Matt about it and I am going to start working on Miles passport! Hopefully, for sure we can come sometime in 2012 (if that is ok with you guys, of course). Let me know what works for you. I would love to skype sometime, but I don't know how/when we could set that up.

we would LOVE a visit! you and miles are welcome anytime:)we're not sure about the summer or next year yet. moving to asia is in the works at the moment, but we could be here for another year. i would love to skype and it's long overdue. if you see us online, give us a call, and we'll do the same.
