our friends stayed in the bungalows, but because we signed onto the weekend late, we stayed in the hotel (which we actually loved)
the hotel. we had the entire upper floor with a deck overlooking the water
pure relaxation
unwanted critters flying above our heads as we slept:( sure they eat the mosquitoes, but i still really hate them flying above my head INSIDE our hotel room
one of my new co-workers has a girlfriend that happens to be an amazing singer, so we had a mini concert after dinner
i've got so much to say about this weekend, but absolutely no energy. i need to get busy with preparing for school tomorrow so writing about all the fantastic things we did this weekend is going to have to wait. overall, it was a perfect weekend!
unfortunately, we're still calling the santander hotel our home, but that will change this week.
OMG, Sherri! It looks awesome! I think you and Ben made the right decision! Tell me it was cheap too, I am so jealous. I love it. I love the picture of you and Ben on the beach, so cute. And the bat is crazy! Di you guys catch one for the photo? Love & miss you!

@ Jenn, I know right? The bat is crazy! Ben didn't touch it, but the dog we were hanging out with caught two of them. As for expensive, I would say not so much. The hotel was about $30 per night which seems steep here, but not so bad. @ Dad, thanks for checking in on us and being so super awesome supportive! You're the best!

All I can say is wow! I love the new apartment, but wow what a great way and place to begin your adventure! I love the pics! The views, the new friends, the wildlife in your room...everything looks perfect!
